Dear Friends,

The repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic are significant, and through the federal American Rescue Plan funding, we will continue to address immediate and long-term challenges. This funding provides an immense opportunity for Howard County – and it’s more important than ever that our residents and businesses have the chance to be actively engaged in the process.

This funding is an investment, an investment in our future and a reminder that hope is on the horizon and that together, we will get through this. We are confident the use of American Rescue Plan will set Howard County on a path to emerge from the pandemic stronger than before.

On Wednesday, September 29th, at 6:00 p.m. we will be hosting an American Rescue Plan Virtual Hearing where residents can provide their thoughts on how to spend this funding.
