The Harper’s Choice Village Board is seeking to fill a vacancy due to the recent resignation of a board member.

Per the Association’s Bylaws, Article II, Section 2.04 Vacancies: “SECTION 2.04. Vacancies. Any vacancy occurring in the Board of Directors for any cause other than by reason of an increase in the number of Directors may be filled by a majority of the remaining members of the Board of Directors, although such majority is less than a quorum. Any vacancy occurring by reason of an increase in the number of Directors may be filled by an action of a majority of the entire Board of Directors. A director selected by the Board of Directors to fill a vacancy shall hold office, the term of which will be determined by the Board of Directors prior to the selection, but which may be for no more than a full two-year term, until the next annual meeting of members, or until his or her successor is elected and qualified, with the exception of the student member who can be replaced, only by another student, by the Board of Directors.”
