Proposed Fire Station in Harper’s Choice

From the beginning of this initiative, the County was relying on the exchange of property from the school board that would provide the necessary space to construct the new fire station in Harper’s Choice.

In a letter from the Howard County Board Education to County Executive Calvin Ball, the Board “has concluded that they do not wish to pursue this property exchange.”

Neither the County nor the school board have provided Harper’s Choice with any information regarding this decision that was made last November.
