oward County has the most dedicated Recyclers who want to recycle everything! However, the truth is not everything is recyclable, even if it is plastic. For example: Small items like drink straws, plastic utensils, empty glue sticks and toothbrushes are too small to be recycled at the recycling plant. Please place those in the trash. Consider carrying a reusable straw (available in stainless steel, acrylic or bamboo) to reduce your trash. Seems like a small thing, but over time it really adds up!
