“Food for Tomorrow,” a grassroots campaign to raise food, money, and awareness for the Howard County Food Bank, will once again participate in the Longfellow Friends of the Traditional 4th Parade, collecting canned and other non-perishable foods. We would appreciate any help you can give in promoting Food For Tomorrow’s participation in this year’s parade.

Look for the pick up truck and the volunteers who will be thrilled to see you as you help them fill the back of the truck with food!

The Food Bank really needs the following items: Tuna, Pasta Sauce, Coffee and Tea,  Healthy Snacks,  Canned Fruit, Low Sodium Vegetables, Cereal, Pasta & Rice, Baby Food, Juice Boxes, Peanut Butter, and Canned Beans.

If you are away for the holiday, please consider donating to the Community Action Council of Howard County (www.cac-hc.org). Together we can help fight hunger in our neighborhood and our county!
