Reminder: Assessment Release & Public Meetings

The Department of Planning and Zoning is pleased to announce that the Development Regulations Assessment and Annotated Outline is now available for review on the project website.

We invite you to attend a public meeting where Clarion Associates will present key components of the Assessment and Annotated Outline and solicit feedback from residents and stakeholders. Both meetings will cover the same information. Please RSVP by clicking on the meeting time you wish to attend:

At the direction of County Executive Allan H. Kittleman, Howard County Planning and Zoning began this effort to rewrite the county’s land development regulations. Clarion Associates conducted phase I, which includes a review and assessment of the zoning code, as well as regulations, policies and manuals related to land development. Phase II is the drafting of a new unified development code.
