Eileen Brewer
I am proud to call Harper’s Choice home. Some of my family have lived in this village since 1980, and for the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of raising my own family here. With two children growing up here, I am deeply invested in the future of our community and the quality of life for every resident.
My commitment to service has always centered on bringing people together. I served as President of Longfellow Nursery School, currently co-manage the Harper’s Choice Challenge Swim Team, and work professionally as a nonprofit organizer, building partnerships, managing projects, and helping communities achieve shared goals.
I would like to join the Harper’s Choice Village Board because I believe strong neighborhoods are built through open communication, thoughtful leadership, and active community engagement. I will work to ensure residents are heard, preserve what makes Harper’s Choice special, and support initiatives that strengthen our village for current and future generations.

I am writing to express my interest in serving the remaining term for the vacancy on the Harper’s Choice Community Association Board of Directors. As a recent transplant from Las Vegas to Hobbit’s Glen, I offer a fresh perspective entirely free from existing local political interests. I am not a politician; rather, I am a dedicated resident invested in protecting the beauty, safety, and identity of the community my family now calls home. Throughout my professional career, I have developed large-scale marketing programs while maintaining strict adherence to budgetary constraints. These experiences will prove highly valuable in executing the fiscal and community responsibilities of the HCCA.

I received an announcement regarding a vacancy on the Harper’s Choice Community Association Board. I am interested in filling that position.
Having lived in the Harper’s Choice community for the past 15 years, I feel a deep commitment to the upkeep, rules and management of our community.
My background includes 32 years of serving as a teacher, team leader, assistant principal, principal, specialist, coordinator and lastly as a director for Howard County Public School System.
